This is another building a bit further up from the abandoned house. Lurking, quietly being taken apart by the plants.
“Buildings are never static, even though we’ve become really good at hiding the joins and making the new match with the old. Given the area this building is probably in the region of 100-250 years old with at least three phases of build I can make out in the stone work.”
Actually the more I look at that I’m wondering whether the building had been abandoned and rebuilt at a later point.
“If the innocent have nothing to fear, why waste millions of pounds seeing what they’re doing?”
I think that does a pretty good job of summing it up.
So in an effort to get some focus back on the pile of photos which need working through, selecting, trimming etc etc. I am aiming to post at least one (what I consider) ‘good’ photo a week and aiming for something worth sharing on a daily basis.
This of course forces me out into the world (even if it is just the flowers in the garden) out into the world and getting the camera out of it’s bag.
